Gutters play a critical role in protecting Florida homes by collecting rainwater from the roof and directing it safely away from the structure. During South Florida’s rainy season, a single storm can produce more than 1,200 gallons of runoff from an average-sized roof. When gutters are clogged, undersized, or poorly positioned, that water overflows, leading to roof edge damage, rotting fascia, stained siding, soil erosion, and foundation cracks caused by hydrostatic pressure.
